Hi, my name is Jeremy Bassett and this is my biography.  I’m originally from Florida but I’ve lived all over the world.  Of course I love music and movies, anything in entertainment I enjoy.  I have a really artistic family.  I’ve been singing since I was a tiny kid, even though i wasn’t really tiny in size.  I had a pretty tough life, part of it was brought on me and part of it I brought on myself.  But I don’t feel sorry for myself because I’ve been blessed in countless ways.  If you really want to know more about me, listen to my voice when I sing.  Hopefully for the next years to come there will be many opportunities when i can express myself emotionally through music, which is basically why I do this.  Skyrocket Love to me is a great band and I hope you will feel the same as we progress and mature and give ourselves to you.  It’s too hard to sum up your life in a paragraph as I’m sure most of you agree.  So, let’s just meet each other.

Hi I’m Merritt.  I grew up in Iowa City, Iowa and lived there most of my life.  I got into music pretty early on; first choir and then the piano a few years later when I was 12.  I started seriously writing when I was 18 and having a rough time when I was a freshman in college, but I’ve been hearing melodies in my head ever since I can remember.  Music is the outlet for all the good things and the bad things in my life.

Hi, my name is Lucas Guterres and I’m the guitarist for Skyrocket Love. My musical journey and passion began at age five as i studied classical piano. At eleven, I transitioned from piano to guitar and it became my instrument of choice with a strong influence from Blues and Rock n’ Roll. Over the next 8 years I started playing gigs for clubs, parties and shows with cover bands in my hometown and around Brazil.

I then decided to move to Los Angeles to study Audio Engineering at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood where I gained the knowledge and confidence of working in a studio. Then one day I was introduced through a mutual friend to Jeremy Bassett and we realized that we have a lot in common, started writing songs together and I became a member of Skyrocket Love

My name is Curtis and i play bass in skyrocket love. I was born and raised in Southern California and currently live in Agoura Hills. Ever since I was little, I have been drawn towards all types of music. When I was 13, I learned to play guitar and started writing songs. Throughout middle and high school, I was in a few bands and started playing shows locally. During that time, i also worked with Grammy Award winning producer, KC Porter at his studio. I spent two years there and gained a lot of valuable experience with recording, engineering, producing and music business. Not too long after high school, I started playing bass and found my way into an audition for Skyrocket Love.

Hey I’m Andrew and I play drums for Skyrocket Love. I’m from Erie Pennsylvania and I currently live in Hollywood CA and attend the Musicians Institute. Music has always been apart of my life. I was raised on a healthy diet of bands like Alice Copper, Black Sabbath, and Deep Purple growing up thanks to my Dad but my musical tastes have broadened to just about every style of music. I was very excited when i found out I had gotten the gig with Skyrocket Love. They are all great guys and amazing musicians. I look forward to taking over the world with them.
